Founded by Sian Baxter in 2001, the consultancy has grown from strength to strength and has earned a reputation for designing lighting schemes that are subtle, sympathetic and energy efficient. 

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are a small but highly professional independent lighting design consultancy based in London.  We have a wealth of experience in designing lighting schemes for the interior and exterior of both residential and commercial properties.  We are commissioned by business and home owners, property developers, architects, interior designers and garden designers and take on any size of project from large hotels to a single room in a home.  

As an independent lighting design consultancy, we provide impartial advice on the most appropriate light fittings to use in a lighting scheme. We source architectural and decorative lights from a wide variety of suppliers across the UK and overseas according to the clients budget and taste.

Our company ethos is to design beautiful lighting schemes that enhance a space and that work well functionally.

ABOUT THE LIGHTING DESIGN SERVICe

Our design service is personal, professional and efficient.

We will design the lighting scheme and specify the light fittings that will work well in the scheme.  We can also provide a full post design service to include site visits, ordering lights and commissioning the lighting scheme. 

We typically work on a fixed fee basis and can provide a fee proposal based on floor plans of the proposed space.  Alternatively we can offer consultations charged on an hourly basis. 

ABOUT SIAN BAXTER

Sian has a deep passion for lighting and an innate understanding of it.

In the early part of her career, Sian worked in investment banking but her interest in lighting design led her back to study for lighting industry qualifications, and in 2001 she founded her own consultancy. She is now one of the industry’s leading professionals and is particularly passionate about energy efficient lighting schemes and product innovation.
